Hello, my name is greg virts, i have lived here in boise, ID for about a year. I have been in two car accidents, and tore my meniscus and ACL, in my right knee. Now i have had back pain ever since i was 19 when i got in my first car accident. I was tested back then for back injuries and Dr. Surchiek of Twin Falls, ID diagnosed me with a slipped disk and severe whip lash. since then my back has gotten worse, Im taking Bayer Back and Body, IBprufen, and Tylenol about 3-4 times a day, i take 2 baths a day, and have my wife massage my back everyday as well. This provides me with minimal relief, i still cannot sleep, i cannot eat well, and the quality of my life is constantly slipping into this painful meloncoloy that i cannot get out of. Now, most recently i tore my knee ligimits and was suppose to have surgery with Dr. Miller of Idaho Sports Medicine. My insurance was cancelled within a week of the date i was scheduled for surgery. I actually found out about my insurance being cancelled after my pre-op visit with dr. Miller. With my knee and my back Pain i really do not know what to do? i need some help!!!, i'm sick of dealing with Doctors that try to say im a drug addict, that i have no painful injuries? who are they to tell me that? My back and my knee cause me dayly pain, it makes everyone around me suffer. The remedies that i currently use are not working, i feel minimal relief. I am not a drug addict, i have never tried anything other then marijuina, which that does not do anything other then give me head aches and make me focus on my pain more. All im saying is that i need someone to listen and to act accordingly. Im currently looking to get Medicaid, im out of work, and finding that the longer i go without help the harder it is to be there for my wife and son. my back and knee make it to where i loose interest in things fast, once i feel it, it changes who i am. I was told I had this app. 7 yrs ago and since have lost my right kidney though the illness and have just under half of my left one functioning. I'm always in and out of hospital with IV anti bi otics and IV morphine for the pain.Im on 400 to 600mg of kapanol a slow releasing morphine a day but have now got to the stage where I'm fed up of being told there is nothing else we can do for you I won't go right into it now but wondered if there is anyone else out therein the same boat I am and if so could you be so kind as to contact me. I feel as though my life is coming to a end I'm scared and don't like how I'm feeling as each day comes. I can't have kidney transplants as that's been tried and my tissues are paper thin and won't take so that's what scares me even more. Look forward to hopefully hearing from someone somewhere.
